Where to Go For Just $10
Living in Caoba places you at the center of everything Miami has to offer! With Little Havana in the west and South Beach/Lincoln Road in the east the possibilities are endless. Just $10 dollars on an Uber can take you to some of Miami’s top cultural hot spots, check out our $10 ride round up!
1. Little Havana
Head just a few minutes west to one of Miami’s most famous neighborhoods. Known for the Cuban culture running through the streets, Little Havana is a piece of Miami you wouldn’t want to miss. Start the day with a plate of Cuban Cuisine at Versailles where you can enjoy everything from cuban sandwiches to croquetas. Next, spend some time with locals by playing a game of dominoes at Máximo Gómez Park and cool off with a scoop of Café con Leche ice cream from Azucar!
2. Coconut Grove
Day with the family? Take a short trip south and you’ll likely run into a few peacocks in The Grove! Start the morning off with a free yoga class at Peacock Park. Later, visit the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, a beautiful villa and estate on Biscayne Bay. After you’re done discovering Coconut Grove, indulge in delicious nutella filled french toast at Greenstreet Cafe.
Time to hit Miami’s art scene! Start off your morning with the pioneers of Miami’s craft coffee movement at Panther Coffee and pair it with a maple-bacon donut from Miami’s first artisanal donut shop, The Salty Donut. Looking for night life? Jam to Latin-funk live music at El Patio and sip on cocktails made using housemade syrups and mixers.
4. Miami Design District
Hungry? Have your Uber take you north where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are waiting for you! From avocado toast at Ella‘s to delicious authentic tacos at La Pollita and the array of choices at St. Roch Market, MDD has it all. Before heading home after a post-lunch shopping spree, grab your next Instagram post by the Fly Eye’s Dome!
5. South Beach/Lincoln Road
What is Miami without it’s beaches?! Race on over to the coast where the sun, food and shopping meet. Take a dip in the water right next to South Pointe Park Pier as the boats head to sea. Then, take a short trip to Lincoln Road where shopping is a must.BACK TO BLOGS
